Equipment Classes
Reformer Performer
Level: Mixed
This class is for the experienced mat student looking to add a different dimension to their routine. You will be led through the basic exercises of the Reformer. If you are new to the Reformer you must complete our Machine Primer or 1 Private session with one of our instructors before you can take this class. Reservations required. 24 hour cancellation policy applies to this class.
Tower Power
Level: Mixed
This class is for the experienced mat student looking to add a different dimension to their routine. You will be led through the basic exercises of the Tower, utilizing the rolldown bar, pushthrough bar, leg springs and arms springs. If you are new to the Tower you must compete our Machine Primer or 1 Private session with one of our instructors before you can take this class. Reservations required. 24 hour cancellation policy applies to this class.
Mat Classes
Mat 101
Level: Beginner
This class will take the beginner through the basics of Pilates, with an emphasis on building core strength. Learn to access your stabilizer muscle groups as well as improve your posture and flexibility, and gain a real understanding of the principles of Pilates. This class is tailored to anyone who has little or no experience with Pilates and has completed the Mat Intensive Workshop, Mat Primer or 2 Private Sessions with one of our instructors.
Mat Challenge
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
This class is designed to use the body's own opposition to correct muscular imbalances caused by everyday life and its repetitive patterns. This class is geared towards students of any age that are looking for a challenge in this fast-paced, multi-level mat class. Pilates experience is a must.
Mixed Level Mat
Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Challenge yourself in this multi-level mat class. The instructor will teach modifications and variations so each student can get the workout that is right for them. Completion of Mat Intensive Workshop, Mat Primer or 2 Private Sessions required.
Workshops
Mat Intensive
Level: Beginner
This 1 1/2 hour workshop will introduce you to the Fundamentals of the Pilates Method and teach you the level 1 exercises of a Mat class. This workshop is a must for anyone new to Pilates. If the mat Intensive is not for you, try the Mat Primer or schedule 2 Private Sessions with one of our instructors to learn the ABC’s of Pilates.
Mat Primer
Level: Beginner
If the Mat Intensive is not for you, schedule yourself with one of our instructors for the Mat Primer. Learn the Fundamentals of the Pilates Method and the level 1 exercises of a Mat class in 2 Private Sessions. This workshop is a must for anyone new to Pilates.
Machine Primer
Level: Beginner
Learn everything you need to know about the Pilates Tower and Reformer in 2 Private Sessions with one of our instructors. During the sessions you will be taught the tools you will need to survive a machine class. If you are not an experienced mat student you must complete the 1½ hour Mat Intensive or complete the Mat Primer with one of our instructors before you can sign up for this workshop.
Primer Package
Level: Beginner
Prepare yourself to take all classes at Pure Pilates. Learn everything you need to know about Pilates Mat, Tower and Reformer in 4 Private Sessions with one of our instructors. During the sessions you will be taught the exercises you will need to know to take Mat, Refomer and Tower classes.
